Programs

Medical Insurance Billing & Coding Specialist Program
Qualified Insurance Billing and Coding Specialists are in high demand at doctors offices, hospitals and insurance companies. Our program teaches students how to process and maintain the millions of health insurance claims these organizations and their patients file each year. In as few as seven months, students learn basic anatomy, medical terminology, claims processing procedures, and become proficient with industry-standard billing & coding computer software.

Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions Program
Qualified Dental Assistants are in high demand. The US Department of Labor expects the field to grow 29% between 2006 and 2016. Our short term Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions program teaches students to perform routine cleanings, support dentists during advanced procedures and manage the day-to-day operations of a dental practice. The program also includes expanded functions such as dental radiology to make students even more attractive to employers. After working in the classroom and lab, students complete their training at a hands-on externship with practicing dentists and real patients.

Medical/Clinical Laboratory Assistant Program
Our Medical/Clinical Laboratory Assistant Program prepares students for entry-level employment in doctors offices, hospitals and other health care facilities. We help students develop a diverse skill set that is attractive to employers. The program teaches students to perform laboratory procedures such as EKG, blood collection, handling of specimens and much more. Students learn human anatomy/physiology, medical terminology, basic patient care, safety procedures and medical ethics as they become comfortable and confident in a medical setting. The program includes a hands-on externship in a local health care facility where students put their training to work with real doctors and patients.
